Our Green Initiatives.
MUSKITA is an active member of Green Dot Cyprus.
We are ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certified.
We support programmes such as Adopt a Heliostat to encourage environmental protection, green energy, and innovation in Cyprus.
We use environmentally friendly dyes and rigorously treat all wastewater to meet high safety and environmental standards.
MUSKITA won the 2009 Energy Conservation Award for a gas-cooling system that converts heat into steam to reduce gas-emission temperatures and conserve energy.
We installed Cyprus’ largest 2.5 mw photovoltaic roof (6,750 panels), covering around 30% of our energy needs and reducing CO₂ emissions by 2,500 tonnes each year.
Aluminium Recycling.

We recycle all of our scrap metal. Aluminium can be recycled almost infinitely, requiring only 5% of the initial energy input, and its recycling saves about 100 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, making it one of the greenest materials in the built environment.
