MUSKITA presents MU2600 Heavy Duty, the new innovative hinged system ideal for large openings in residences and commercial buildings as well as exhibition and public spaces. The heavy duty system MU2600 HD is composed of robust, narrow profiles that contribute to the system’s high aesthetics and elegant design while also enabling the construction of large openings, both in height and width.

Technical Features & Solutions

MU2600 HD can withstand heavy duty, large frame configurations with high thermal efficiency, water tightness and mechanical strength.
The system’s innovative design offers multiple roller guide options responding to all needs, such as concealed roller guides, flush with floor, for persons with mobility challenges, for vehicles and more.
The system offers multiple design solutions and covers all possible frame configurations such as single or even sash numbers, with or without doors, opening inward or outward, as well as corner constructions with 90◦ mullion free closing. System MU2600 HD is constructed to open fully for maximum utilization of views, merging the inside and outside.
High security is achieved with multiple locking points and high-tech precision accessories. A variety of high quality handles, embedded handles and mechanism are available from MUSKITA, Giesse Italy and G-U Germany.
Smooth rolling of sashes is achieved with a floor sliding mechanism, high-strength primary aluminium alloy roller guides and stainless steel rollers that can withstand a maximum weight of up to 200 kg per sash.
High thermal efficiency is achieved by the 32 mm wide polyamides that thermally break the profiles, contributing to excellent energy savings.
